A Prayer for the Coming Week

It has been a wonderful weekend
On Friday, I was a little down because my husband was going to Mobile (and the beach) to spend some quality time with the grandchildren and I had decided I couldn’t go because I just had too much work to get done.  I have posted a couple of times that I will be attending the Western States Horse Expo in Sacramento, California in June.  Participating in such a large show means that I have to have plenty of inventory on hand.  Although I have been heads down since January getting products in place for The Horse Mafia, there is extra urgency when you have to have your products available for immediate sale for a 3-day period.  And, of course, while I am working on getting plenty of each product in place, I am researching, designing and creating new products for The Horse Mafia (I have a GREAT, new product coming out in a few days–stay tuned).
Having said all that, I stayed home and worked all weekend.  And I got a lot done.  That makes me happy.  It is this feeling of happiness, one of contentment and fulfillment that instigated this blog.
You see, it doesn’t really bother me that I worked all weekend.  I am so loving what I am doing…it doesn’t feel like work.  Yes, I am a little tired.  But not too bad.  I am more happy than I am tired.  I feel so good about where I am on my journey.  I’m just happy.  No other way to say it.  Not for one second do I take my blessings for granted.  God knows…I am blessed.  But I know that I am blessed.  I verbalize it.  I make decisions based on my blessings.  I act on my blessings.  I am living my dream and I am living blessed.  Below is a few photos of me and a couple friends I met in Las Vegas last summer.  🙂 They were precious boys.

Charity in Las Vegas – 2013

I hope you had a happy and blessed weekend.  If you had to work, I hope it was doing something that you love doing.
I pray that God blesses you this week.  And I pray that you bless others!  Below, I pray a prayer for us for the coming week.

A Prayer for the Coming Week
Dear Lord,
Thank you for a beautiful weekend.  Please prepare us for the coming week.  Make ready our heart and soul so that we can share Your love with all we meet.  Open the right doors for us and keep closed those that are not meant for us.  Renew our hope and keep our faith strong in You.  Allow us to come into contact with positive people and situations and keep the negative ones away from us.  Guide us, direct us and keep us from harm.
In Your name, I pray.
Amen.
