Merry Christmas Eve! Happy Thankful Thursday! It’s our fourth Thankful Thursday of December 2020 and we have an extra special thankful heart this morning because we are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
Wake up! Don’t miss the good news. These hugs are sent with love, care and a sincere Christmas Eve greeting to bless you and your family.
I want to pray a short prayer for your Christmas Eve Thankful Thursday. Please pray with me, believe in God and the power of prayer and receive the blessings that the power of prayer can bring to you.
Dear God, Thank You for waking us up on this beautiful Christmas Eve. Each day is a gift from you and today we are celebrating Your most precious gift, the birth of Jesus Christ.
Lord, if anyone praying this prayer feels alone, send Your Christmas blessings of love and comfort and let them feel Your presence.
Send Your mighty angels to protect us and take anything meant to hurt us and turn it into our good.
Give us a day filled with bright skies, happy moments, kind people, smiles from our families and friends, peace in our hearts and joy in our souls.
We are all thankful for our many blessings. Our blessings of good health for our families, our friends, our freedom and all the little things in our life are all blessings from You.
Most of all, we are thankful that You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, whose birth we are celebrating. We are so thankful for Jesus.
Lord, many of us have struggled over the past nine months and we need Your touch. Many are still struggling and need You to restore their health and their finances.
Many who are praying this prayer have lost loved ones. Many have lost jobs, homes, their sense of security and many feel hopeless.
Restore jobs, restore homes, restore our economy and make us all whole again. We need Your mighty touch to move forward.
Let this Christmas Eve restore and renew our hope. Strengthen our faith and teach us to trust in You. Where there is faith, where there is hope, miracles happen.
Today, be with my family, friends and everyone reading this. Bless them in ways they’ve never known before and make a way for them when there seems to be no way.
We love You, Lord, and we are thankful for all the blessings You’ve placed in our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
With this hug, I am saying “I am thankful for you”. May God bless you and fill your heart with thankfulness, peace and happiness. Christmas Eve Hugs! Thankful Thursday Hugs!
Sending you blessings of love, gratitude and prayer from Sterrett, Alabama!
