Happy Friday, My Friends! I pray your Friday and your weekend are blessed! I’m sending Friday hugs your way. I hope you can reach out and catch one.
Today is the day we love so much. We smile more, laugh more, and we have a little more skip in our step. Sometimes we don’t know why we are happier on Friday, we just are.
We’re just happy to have reached the end of the work week and we’re happy to get some time with our family and friends.
It’s been a really stressful week for me. Maybe for you too. But today is the day we try to let go of the stress and let peace reign in our hearts and minds.
I need a hug. You may too. I feel like I want to hug all my family and friends and whisper to each one of you, “Just breathe.
Everything is going to be alright. God is working on your behalf right now. Be patient and trust Him. Don’t let the negativity take root in your heart and mind”.
I want to pray a simple prayer and send it with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is working things out for you and your family.
Dear God, Please be with us today and through this weekend. You have given us this day and we thank You for waking us up and letting us see this Friday.
Remove our worries and fears and place Your peace in our hearts. Guide us away from drama-filled situations and protect us from danger and harm.
There are situations across our Country that need Your touch. Please reach down with Your healing hands and bring love and peace to these situations.
For everyone reading this who is dealing with the loss of a loved one, please be with them and give them Your comfort and peace.
For everyone reading this who lost their job, restore employment for them and make a way for them. Give them a job that is even better than before.
For everyone reading this who is suffering with different illnesses and pains, please touch them with Your healing hands.
Take away their pain and bring joy and happiness into their lives. Be with us all today and strengthen our faith in You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Even though I can’t physically be with you all, I still want to send you out a Friday hug to let you know that God loves you and I love you too.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
