Happy Friday, My Friends! I am sending Friday Hugs your way. And I am praying that your day and your weekend are blessed! Did your Christmas week go by as fast as mine did? It was so, so fast for me.
It’s our last Friday and Weekend before the New Year. Think about that for a second. The year 2019 is about to end and we will be entering 2020 in a few days. It doesn’t seem possible that another year is ending.
Are you feeling rushed to get something finished or done? Maybe you’re feeling worried because you promised yourself that you’d accomplish something by the end of the year and you haven’t been able to accomplish that goal.
Stop right there and take a deep breath. If you let it, regret will take away from the joy of the weekend. You are just one person. You will accomplish that goal. It may take you a little bit longer, but that just means that it’ll be done just a little bit better than it might have been had you rushed through it.
I’m sending you this hug to bring a smile to your face and peace to your heart. God wants us to be at peace in all seasons.
Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. ~Psalm 46:10.
We have to slow down to hear God’s voice. Worry, anxiety, and chaos keeps us from being able to hear Him. Take a few minutes today, be still and talk with God. Let Him remove all your worries. Let His peace be yours. Go into the weekend with peace in your heart.
Even though I can’t physically be with you all, I still want to send you out a Friday hug to let you know that God loves you and I love you too.
