Friday’s are always good, but today is extra special because this Friday begins our Valentine’s Day weekend. Believe that God is going to bless your day and your weekend with His every perfect gift from above.
I asked God for a flower, he gave me a bouquet. I asked God for a minute, he gave me a day. I asked God for true love, he gave me that too. I asked for an angel and he gave me you. Happy Valentine’s Day.
With this hug, I want you to know that you are loved. There is no way to measure just how much God loves you.
You may have deep, caring love from many—your special someone, your parents, your children, your family, your friends and your special four-legged babies. But, there is no love that is as pure and deep as the love of God.
And I understand that this is the day we celebrate the love of the “special someone”, but just keep in the back of your mind just how much you are loved. When you understand how much God loves you, you are better able to offer others love.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16
As you celebrate with your special love today and this weekend, take a few minutes and say a prayer of thanks for the love of God. Because it is His love, above all others, that makes it possible for us to celebrate everything.
