God woke us up to see another Monday, another new week. Waking up is a tremendous blessing. Some people went to bed last night, planning their day today. But they didn’t make it through the night. I praise God that I did.
My first blessing of the day, I woke up.
This caring, loving hug I am sending you is to let you know that God loves you, He wants you to be happy and He wants you to live in His peace.
He wants you to have a wonderful, blessed, and peaceful week. Stay focused on Him and that is the kind of week you will have.
Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.
When God lives in your heart, peace lives there. Because you know that no matter what comes at you, God is there to handle it.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 4:7
This day and this new week are gifts from God. Make them count. Every single second. Don’t take a single second for granted.
Don’t let any person or any situation take you out of God’s peace. When someone tries to get to you, walk away. If someone tries to bring you into their chaotic life, bring them into your peace. Don’t let what anyone does or says bring you down.
If at any point during the day you feel like you are getting out of the peace that God wants you live in, take a deep breath, say a prayer and remember this big, caring hug. Monday Hugs!
