God woke us up to see another Monday, another new week. Some people went to bed last night, planning their day today, making plans for their work, or planning activities for their children. But they didn’t make it through the night. I praise God that I did. And I praise God you made it too.
Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift from God which is why we call it the present.
This caring, loving hug I am sending you is to let you know that God loves you, He wants you to be happy and He wants you to live in His peace. God wants you to have a week that is happy.
Trust in the Lord, and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Delight yourselves in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. ~Psalm 37:3-4
When you start believing that each new day, each new week are gifts from God, you start to see all of God’s blessings around you. And as you see your blessings, happiness takes up residence in your heart.
This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. ~Psalm 118:24
Don’t let any person or any situation take away your happiness. Remember you have a lot to be happy about. You woke up to see a day made by God. You woke up to start a new day, to start a new week. That means you are very, very blessed.
