Monday Hugs

Good Morning and Happy first Monday of July, my friends! We woke up to see a new day and a new week. That means that we have started out our Monday and our new week with a blessing-we woke up!

I pray you had a blessed Fourth of July weekend and that you were able to spend some time with your family and friends.

You may not have been able to do much celebrating over the weekend, but I hope you were able to get out at least a little bit and enjoy your weekend.

As you begin your week, decide that you will be blessed and you won’t let negative people or situations bring you down. Bring everyone you meet into your peace.

I’m sending Monday hugs your way. We all need a hug to start our week off with a smile. So, even if you’re not fully awake yet, reach out and grab a hug!

With this hug, I am sending encouragement and I am saying to you, “God loves you, He cares for you and He is going to bless your Monday and your new week.”

I want to pray a simple prayer for your week and send the prayer with your hug. Pray this prayer with me, believe, and receive the blessings sent with it.

Dear God, We thank You for this new day, this new week. We are thankful that You woke us up and let us see another new week.

Renew our hope, strengthen our faith, place Your calm in our hearts and help us be a blessing to everyone we meet. We know You are with us and You will never leave us.

Lord, please end this pandemic. We need to be able to return to some normalcy in our lives. For anyone struggling with the virus, please heal them and give them a fast recovery.

Place a shield of protection around us and keep us safe from all harm. Guide our footsteps away from danger, negativity and drama.

We love You, Lord, we trust in You and we are going to live each day of this week for Your glory. We will praise You in the morning, in the afternoon and in the night.

We thank You for blessing our Fourth of July weekend and we thank You for bringing peace and calm to our Cities, States and Country.

Keep us vigilant as we continue to keep ourselves and others safe. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Today, whenever you need a hug, remember that this one is here for you. And remember that God loves you, cares for you and He will never leave you. Monday Hugs!

Sending you love, blessings and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
