Happy Saturday, my friends! And happy second Saturday of August! Thank you so much for being here, for taking a few minutes to get a hug and pray with me.
I don’t know about you, but I believe that God brought us through this past week and woke us up to see this beautiful weekend. And I am so thankful.
Let’s decide right now that we aren’t bringing any stress or worries from the week into the weekend with us. We are giving everything that is worrying us to the One who loves us.
We are going to lay everything at God’s feet and let Him fight our battles for us. He never loses and when He fights our battles, we win the war.
Make your personal space stress-free and worry-free. And let everyone know that your space is open only to positive, happy thoughts, words and energy.
I’m sending Saturday hugs your way. This hug is to let you know that God is taking care of you and He is working out things in your life.
And I am sending a little prayer with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is making a way for us. He is always with us.
Dear God, Please bless everyone reading this. We thank you for bringing us through another week and letting us see this beautiful, blessed Saturday and weekend.
We believe that You are going to bless our weekend with Your happiness, peace, joy and renewed hope. We know that all things are possible with You.
Place a shield of protection around my family and friends. Keep them safe from all harm and guide them away from anything that may harm them.
Make our paths positive, productive and filled with concern and compassion for others. Help us be a blessing to others and help us to always see the good in others.
Lord, bring an end to this pandemic. Take this virus away from Your people and heal everyone suffering with it. We believe You are all powerful.
Lord, we believe that You are bringing peace, calm and clarity back to our communities, our cities and states. Lord, heal this Country and keep us focused on Your plans for us.
We need You more than ever. We need you in our homes, our workplaces, our schools, our public spaces, our churches and everywhere in between.
Let only positive people and energy enter our homes. Remove all negativity from our spaces and dispel drama before it finds us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
