Good Morning and Happy Saturday, my friends! I thank God we made it through the week and we are here at another blessed weekend. I’m sending Saturday hugs your way.
All the issues surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic have made our last few weeks very challenging. We are worried for ourselves and we are worried for our loved ones. And it is completely understandable.
Constant worry and stress take a terrible toll on the body. When you worry, your eating habits are not as good when you’re at peace.
Stress causes you to lose sleep and sleep is desperately needed right now. It restores your energy, boosts your immune system and helps maintain your peace and calm.
Do your best to let all the worry and stress go. Turn it over to God. Yes, I know it is hard, but bringing the week’s stress and worry into your weekend will create even more stress and worry.
And, before you know it, you are waking up on Monday morning with a dull headache, racing thoughts, and fear in your heart.
Remember what we need to do to be safe in this pandemic: wash our hands, don’t touch our face, social distance, stay out of crowds and get enough rest/sleep.
During these challenging times, you may be feeling that God has left you. The enemy will try to make you think that. It isn’t true. He will never leave you.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, for the Lord your God is with you. He will never leave you or forsake you. ~Deuteronomy 31:6
I’m sending you this hug to help you let all your stress and worry go. And I am sending a little prayer with it: Dear God, please bless my friends who are reading this.
Keep them happy and joyful. Place a shield of protection around them that protects them from exposure to the Coronavirus and anything else that may harm them. Be with them this weekend and shower them with Your blessings. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Never forget that God wants you to be happy. That means that He wants you to live in good health, to be safe, to be at peace, to be worry-free and to live a life of reliance upon Him.
May you blessed today and every day. Have a blessed weekend.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
