Happy Saturday, my friends! It’s the third Saturday of July. Can you believe how fast this month is going by? I am glad God led you here on this beautiful Saturday and we get to spend this few minutes together.
We made it through another week, my friends. There is no doubt that it was God who brought us through the week and it was God who woke us up to see another beautiful weekend.
My Grandmother used to say, “If you’ve given it to God, there’s nothing anyone can do to make it better. He will handle it and you’ll get the best outcome possible.”
So, try not to bring any worries, fears and anxieties of the week into the weekend with you. Try to clear your mind of everything and focus on making today count.
We’ve had so much to worry about this week. Spikes in cases all over the country and whether you live in a city that is experiencing unrest or not, you still worry and are concerned about those cities that are experiencing unrest.
This weekend, pray about all that is worrying you and give it all to God. Let it go and enjoy your weekend. Make your space a stress free zone and embrace and project peace.
I’m sending you this hug to help you let all your stress and worry go. With this hug, I am saying, “Let your stress go, let God have your worries and fears and have a weekend filled with God’s peace”.
And I am sending a little prayer with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is working in our lives and He is working things out for us.
Dear God, Please bless everyone reading this. We are so thankful You have brought us to this beautiful, third Saturday of July.
Lord, give us a weekend that is filled with Your peace, calm, happiness and joy. Place a shield of protection around us that protects us from all harm.
Lord, bring an end to this pandemic. Take this virus away from Your people and heal everyone suffering with it. We believe You are all powerful.
Lord, bring an end to the unrest across our Country. Bring Your people together in Your love and heal the division that divides us and keeps us in chaos.
Guide our footsteps away from danger and keep our eyes and hearts focused on You. May we be a blessing to others and may we treat everyone with Your kindness and love.
Let only positive people and energy enter our homes. Remove all negativity from our spaces and dispel drama before it finds us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
