I’m sending out Happy Sunday Hugs to you! Good Morning, my friends! I pray that you woke up to a beautiful, blessed Sunday. And I pray you feel the blessings of the Lord all day long.

I’ve received prayer requests over the last few days about Coronavirus. These requests varied in who they were requesting prayer for, but they all had a common theme: fear. During times like these it is easy for us to take our eyes off  God and give in to the fear and chaos of the pandemic.

But don’t do that. I am in no way going to minimize the effect, the impact, the death toll, the number of cases or anything else to do with this dire situation. But remember who protects you. Remember who orders His angels to protect you wherever you go.

God will cover you with His protection. He will give you calm in times of chaos and He will bring peace to your heart and home.

For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you, no plague will come near your home. ~Psalm 91:3, 9-10.

With this hug, I am praying a simple prayer for protection and calm: Dear God, We humbly ask that You provide a shield of protection over us all. Keep us safe from any viruses that we may be exposed to. For those who have tested positive, give them Your strength and make their recovery fast.

Replace our worries with Your peace and remove our fears and anxieties. Help us to remember that You are with us, You are in control and You can heal Your people.

Bless us so that we may bless others and let us serve as Your light so that others may find their way in these dark times. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

With this hug, I pray that God blesses you and heals you. And whenever you need it, close your eyes and remember this hug and this prayer.

Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
