It’s a beautiful Sunday! Good Morning, my friends. I’m sending out Happy Sunday Hugs to you! I hope you are able to catch at least one of these hugs.
I pray that your Sunday has begun with smiles on your face and peace in your heart. God has never left us. He is with us right now.
This Sunday is like the past few. Most of us are still complying with stay at home orders and most of our Churches are closed.
These past few weeks have been hard on us. It is hard being in isolation, many of us without our families, never being able to see our friends and loved ones.
But we have prayed and prayed. And when we would think about stopping, we prayed some more. God has heard our prayers.
It looks like we are going to be able to return to a little bit of normalcy soon. Thank God for that. He is going to bring us out of this.
Just a few more days. We can do it. Stay safe until you know for sure that it is safe for you to go out. Keep praying and keep trusting God.
With this hug, I am praying a simple prayer of thankfulness and calm: Dear God, We thank You for protecting us during this pandemic.
We know that it is You who has brought us to this point. We would not have made it without You. We ask for Your continued protection during the last days of our stay at home orders.
We thank You for giving Your strength to the doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers so that they could care for us.
Replace our worries with Your peace and remove our fears and anxieties. Help us to remember that You are with us, You are in control and You can heal Your people.
Bless us so that we may bless others and let us serve as Your light so that others may find their way in these dark times. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
