Sunday Hugs

Happy first Sunday of August 2020, my friends! I’m sending Sunday Hugs your way! Don’t let them pass you by. Reach out and grab one and receive the blessings sent with it.

Some Churches have opened up and some haven’t. In my area, some of the Churches opened, only to close again due to a spike in cases.

Whether your Church is open or if you are worshiping at home, remember: This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. ~Psalm 118:24.

With this hug, I am saying, “God cares for you. He cares for you so much that He gave His only Son so that your sins may be forgiven and you may live eternally”.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. ~John 3:16.

Remember, God has plans for you. He wakes you up every single day so that you can carry out His plans for your life. He wants to see you happy and successful.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ~Jeremiah 29:11.

I wanted to pray a short, simple prayer and send it with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is working things out for us.

Dear God, Thank You for waking us up and letting us see this beautiful, first Sunday of August 2020. You kept us safe during the night and we are so grateful.

Lord, thank You in advance for bringing a complete end to this pandemic. Heal anyone who is sick and suffering and make them whole again with good health and happiness.

Remove all fear and anxiety associated with the virus and increase our Trust in You, Lord. Be with us this week and bless us as we go about our days. May we be grateful for each sunrise and each sunset.

Give us new opportunities, restore jobs, replinish finances and make a way for us and our families. Bring Your peace to our homes and our hearts.

We know You are with us. We know You are in control and You are going to bring us all the way through this pandemic. We are standing on Your promises.

Bring an end to the unrest and bring peace to our cities, our homes and our hearts. May we all be a blessing to others and may we all draw closer to You.

Give us a week filled with Your blessings of grace, mercy, favor, abundance and peace.

In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

May you blessed today and every day. Sunday hugs!

Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
