It’s Thankful Thursday, my friends! Good Morning! I am thankful for so many things today—I woke up, I have a home, I have food, water and I am thankful that YOU are here!

I’m sending Happy Thankful Thursday HUGS your way. This hug is sent with a lot of love, care and encouragement. I hope you can catch one!

It seems like we have been in lockdown for a year. I have terrible cabin fever. It gets worse with each passing hour. I pray we are able to get out and do the things we want to do very, very soon.

To tell you the truth, I cannot complain. As a matter of fact, I have it quite good. And I am thankful. Thousands of people have lost loved ones to the Coronavirus and millions have lost jobs.

Whenever I let the thoughts, “I need to get out. I need to be around people,” enter my head, I very quickly remind myself that I’m alive, I’m healthy and my loved ones are safe and healthy.

And I tell myself, ‘We are going to make it through this. No matter how long it takes, we are going to make it.”

And I don’t just say these things to myself. I believe them. I know that God is going to bring us through this pandemic. And I believe it will be soon.

Let’s keep a thankful heart. Thankful for how far we’ve come. Thankful for our health and our loved ones’ health. The Bible tells us:

In every thing, give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. ~Psalm 107:1.

Let’s keep doing what we need to do to get through this time. Let’s keep washing our hands, not touching our face, and staying out of crowds. Get plenty of rest.

Let’s stay home and be thankful for each other. Be thankful that you’re not infected and be thankful that your family is healthy. You may not be together right now, but better days are coming.

With this hug, I am saying “I am thankful for you”. God bless you with all of His protection, mercy and grace. And Happy Thankful Thursday Hugs!

Sending you blessings of love, gratitude and prayer from Sterrett, Alabama!
