Good Morning! It’s Thankful Thursday and I woke up with a thankful heart. I think you’ll find that your day will be great if you start it with a thankful heart.
I am thankful for so many things today: I woke up, I’m breathing, I’m healthy, my family is safe and healthy, I have food and water and a home.
I’m sending Happy Thankful Thursday HUGS your way. This hug is sent with a lot of love, care and encouragement. I pray you accept this hug and pass it on!
It’s looking like we’ll be able to start leaving our homes soon. It looks like stay at home orders will be lifted at different times for different States.
Either way, we’ll all be getting out of “lock up” soon and I, for one, am so happy about that. You never know how much you crave human contact until you are ordered to stay away from people.
But, I cannot complain. As a matter of fact, I am so blessed. And I am thankful. Thousands of people have lost loved ones to the Coronavirus and millions have lost jobs.
So, I am not going to complain. I am going to be thankful and keep my thoughts focused on all my blessings. God is good to me. And He is good all the time.
I am going to keep a thankful heart. I am thankful for how far we’ve come. I am thankful for my health and my loved ones’ health. The Bible tells us:
In every thing, give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. ~Psalm 107:1.
Let’s stay home until we are safe to leave and let’s be thankful for each other. Be thankful that your family is healthy. You may not be together right now, but better days are coming.
With this hug, I am saying “I am thankful for you, I am thankful you are healthy and I am thankful we’re making it through this pandemic”.
God bless you with all of His protection, mercy and grace. And Happy Thankful Thursday Hugs!
Sending you blessings of love, gratitude and prayer from Sterrett, Alabama!
