Thankful Thursday Hugs

Good Morning and Happy Thankful Thursday! I woke up with a thankful heart and I hope you did too! If you just stop for a moment, you’ll see that you have so much to be thankful for.

No matter what is going on in your life, there is always, always, always something to be thankful for. So, thank God for the little things, the big things and everything in between.

I’m sending Happy Thankful Thursday HUGS your way. This hug is sent with a lot of love, care and encouragement. I hope you can catch one!

I know that a lot of people are worried. We are worried about whether our jobs are going to be there for us and whether or not our children’s jobs are going to be there and if our friends will still have a job.

We are worried about whether or not our children and grandchildren will be up to date in their schoolwork when schools open back up.

And we are worried about paying the bills and putting food on the table for our families. We are worried about keeping our automobiles, making payments on loans, and on and on.

Yes, we have so much to be worried about. I get that. But we also have a lot to be thankful for. Don’t let your fears and worries override your thankfulness.

With this hug, I am sending a short, simple prayer of thankfulness: Dear God, we are thankful to You for everything. We thank You for our home and shelter.

We thank You for our health, the health of our family and friends, the health of our children and grandchildren. Continue to keep us all healthy and strong.

We know that we would not have made it without You. We know that it is You who has brought us through this pandemic. We are forever thankful.

Be with us as we get through the last days of our stay at home orders. Fill our homes and workplaces with Your happiness and joy. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

With this hug, I am saying “I am thankful for you”. God bless you with all of His protection, mercy and grace. And Happy Thankful Thursday Hugs!

Sending you blessings of love, gratitude and prayer from Sterrett, Alabama!
