Good Morning, friends! Happy Thankful Thursday! I woke up with a thankful heart. I am thankful for this beautiful day and I am thankful you are here.
I’m sending out Happy Thankful Thursday hugs. I pray you are able to get one of these hugs and I pray that you feel the blessings sent with it.
God has given us so much to be thankful for. We have our families and friends. We have our health.
You may have woken up with some aches, but if you’re reading this, you woke up and that’s a blessing!
We have our freedom. That’s a huge blessing to be thankful for. I thank God I am free. And I thank God for all the men and women who work to keep us free.
God is bringing us through these trying times and we are about to be on the other side of it. Keep believing, keep trusting God and know that He is in control.
God has brought us this far and He will carry us all the way through. We will see better days. Believe it.
Because our past few weeks have been so chaotic, it’s easy for us to take our blessings for granted. Don’t let that happen.
The most important blessing we have to be thankful for is that God gave His only Son so that our sins may be forgiven and we may live eternally.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. ~John 3:16.
With this hug, I am saying, “God loves you. He cares for you and He is with you. In all things, be thankful. Even if you are going through bad times, be thankful”.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. ~1 Chronicles 16:34.
I wanted to pray a short, simple prayer and send it with your hugs. Pray this prayer with me and believe that you are going to receive God’s blessings:
Dear God, Thank You for this beautiful day. Today, be with my family, friends and everyone reading this. Bless them in a way they’ve never known before.
Shine Your light upon our paths, guide our footsteps and let our speech and our actions reflect Your love and goodness.
Remove our fears and worries and replace them with Your peace. Restore our finances, open doors of opportunities and help us be a blessing to others.
Restore our faith, renew our hope and give us Your strength to keep moving forward. We love You, Lord, and we are so thankful You are in our lives.
I Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
