Happy Thankful Thursday, My Friends! I am sending hugs your way. I hope you woke up with a thankful heart. You might have wanted to stay in bed longer and you may not be feeling your best and you may need more rest, but if you woke up with a thankful heart, your day will a great one.
So, this hug I’m sending you is to say, “Come on! Get up and get going! God is going to do amazing things for you today.”
No matter how good or not-so-good your life may be, there are many more who would look at your life and wish it for themselves. Look around you and really see all the blessings you have.
What about your home? Blessing. What about food to eat? Water to drink? Blessings. What about the clothes on your back? Blessing. What about the breakfast you are having? Blessing.
Physically, you may not be feeling your best, but if you are reading this, you are probably healthy.
Sometimes we take for granted all the little things we have that are actually blessings. There are millions of people who don’t have a home. Who do not have a computer or phone. They wear the same clothes for weeks or months or until they fall off their body. Some people are not having a nice, hot breakfast. They are not having any breakfast at all. And there are people who thought they would be here this morning, but they didn’t make it through the night.
But you did. You made it. You woke up. You get another day to walk with God. Another day to spend with your family. Another day to breathe.
And I, for one, am thankful for this day. And I am sending you this hug to say, “I am thankful for you.”
God bless you with all of His gifts from above.
