Good Morning and Happy Thankful Thursday, my friends! I am thankful for you this morning. I am thankful God woke you up today and I am thankful you are here.
I’m sending Happy Thankful Thursday HUGS your way. This hug is sent with a lot of love, care and encouragement.
We are living in strange, scary, difficult times. Who would have ever thought that we would be here today? Here at a place of global pandemic and orders to stay home and away from everyone and everything.
Thousands of families have lost loved ones to the Coronavirus and millions have lost jobs. The economy is worse than that of the Great Depression.
I am getting so many emails in which the major prayer request is for God to remove their fear of the Coronavirus. And I get it. I am scared too.
But don’t let fear and worry take root in your heart. Yes, our days are scary, unpredictable and full of uncertainty, but God is going to bring us out of the darkness and into His glorious light. The Bible tells us:
This is my command-be strong and courageous! Do not be be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. ~Joshua 1:9.
Let’s protect ourselves, our families and others. Stay home. And when you start thinking that you have to go out to pick up something, rethink it. Go out only if it is absolutely necessary.
Let’s keep doing what we need to do to get through this time. Let’s keep washing our hands, not touching our face, and staying out of crowds. Get plenty of rest. Let’s stay home and starve this virus.
And be thankful for each other. Be thankful that you’re not infected and be thankful that your family is healthy and with you on this journey. We are going to make it.
With this hug, I am saying “I am thankful for you”. God bless you with all of His protection, mercy and grace. And Happy Thankful Thursday Hugs!
Sending you blessings of love, gratitude and prayer from Sterrett, Alabama!
