Happy Tuesday, my friends! Good Morning. I pray you have a positive day filled with happy moments, kindness and love. If you are staying home today, be blessed and thank God for the home you are in.
Remember that today is not just any old day. This day and every single moment within the day are gifts from God. And even if you are at home, you can make every single second, every moment count.
Just think about it. It was only a few Tuesdays ago that we got up, got ready for work, got the kids or grandkids ready for school and thus began our Tuesday like most other Tuesdays.
But not today. More than three-fourths of Americans are complying with stay at home orders. Millions have lost jobs. Schools have closed for the year. And many are feeling overwhelmed, scared and hopeless.
With this hug, I am sending you encouragement to do everything you can to keep you and your family safe. Wash your hands, don’t touch your face, practice social distancing, and get plenty of rest.
Believe that you are going to make it through this. Remember that God is still on the throne. He is still in control and He is still protecting us. I wanted to pray a short prayer for your safety and happiness.
Dear God, Please bless all of us as we move forward through this process. Protect us and our families and keep us safe from the Coronavirus.
Keep us away from sources of exposure and place Your strength within us to keep us physically strong and healthy. For anyone fighting this virus, please heal them and make them whole.
Bring happiness and joy into our lives and put a smile on our faces and peace in our hearts. Remind us that You haven’t left us, that You are still with us.
Mend our broken hearts, heal our bodies and calm our minds. Restore our hope and renew our faith. Remind us that our joy and our strength are found in You.
Take away our worries and anxieties and give us a peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
As you go about your day, remember this big, caring hug. Tuesday Hugs!
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
