Wednesday Hugs-August 12, 2020

Here’s to a beautiful Wednesday! Good Morning, My Friends. It feels good to wake up to see our second Wednesday of August 2020 and I thank God I woke up!

If you’re like me, a midweek hug always helps. It helps dispel stress from the week so far and helps prevent stress for the rest of the week.

So, I am sending huge, caring Wednesday hugs your way. A hug really does help you feel better. It lets you know that someone cares for you and wants you to feel your best.

With this hug, I’m saying, “Let your stress go. Keep your head up, keep smiling, keep the faith, never lose hope and keep believing that God is working things out for us”.

I wanted to pray a short, simple prayer for your Wednesday. Please pray this prayer with me and receive the blessings I am sending with it.

Dear God, Thank You for bringing us through another night. Thank You for waking us up and letting us see this beautiful, second Wednesday of August 2020.

We not only made it through to the middle of the week, but we have been blessed, protected and shown favor by You and Your angels. We are so grateful.

Lord, bring a complete end to this pandemic. The fear, anxiety and isolation the health crisis has caused have taken a toll on Your people.

We have been worried, afraid and we have felt so unsure about our future. Not only for ourselves, but for our families and friends.

Move us forward through this time and remind us that You are with us and will never leave us. We believe You are making a way for us, even if we can’t see it.

Lord, heal the division across our Country and bring an end to all unrest. Keep us focused on You and renew our strength in You.

We know You are the Great Healer and the Great Physician. Your healing powers encompass the whole world and no one is left untouched by Your power.

We need Your love to heal the sick, remove the division and chaos and bring peace to this Country and the world.

Lord, we need You more than ever. We need You in our personal lives, in our homes, in our workplaces, in our shared spaces and everywhere in between.

Give each of us a love for each other. May we all have Your kind of love so that we love each other with Your compassion, empathy, kindness and patience.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

If you get to a place today where you need a hug, imagine this big, caring hug that I am sending to you! Wednesday Hugs!

Sending you love, blessings and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
