Good Morning! It’s our fourth Wednesday of September. Let’s decide right now that God is going to bless our day. I am sending Wednesday hugs your way. I pray you are able to catch one.
Today is a gift from God. Each day and each moment within the day are gifts from God. This day will never come again. Once each moment passes, it is gone forever. So, make each moment count.
With this hug, I’m saying, “Be encouraged, be calm, be safe and stay in God’s peace. No matter what anyone else does or says, stay calm and be joyful in the Lord.”
I wanted to pray a short, simple prayer for encouragement. Pray this prayer with me and believe that God hears our prayers and He is going to bless us all.
Dear God, Thank You for this beautiful, fourth Wednesday of September. We are so thankful to You for keeping us safe, keeping our families safe and giving us Your peace during these difficult times.
Lord, we know that You gave us this day because someone out there needs us. We may not even know the person who needs us. It may be a stranger that we encourage at some point during the day.
We know You know what is going on in each of our lives and You hear our prayers. You know our struggles, our worries and our fears. And, most importantly, You know our hearts.
We need You, Lord, in every moment of our lives. Let us never forget that we need you every day, both on the good days and on the bad days.
Take away our fears and strengthen our faith. Remove our racing thoughts and calm our minds. Renew our hope and help us to always believe in miracles.
Heal anyone who is still struggling health problems. Heal us physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Heal all Your people, heal this land and the whole world.
May we always place our trust in You, Lord. We sometimes worry and lose our trust. But we pray that our trust is strengthened as we learn the power of prayer and trust.
Remind us that better days are ahead and that You are with us. Help us to always place our faith in You and rely upon Your power to bring us out of the darkness into the light.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
