Wednesday Hugs to you, My Friend! Good Morning and Happy Wednesday! I pray you have a blessed and happy Wednesday filled with God’s blessings. And I pray you are stress free and worry free.
I strongly believe in Divine protection. God will protect you from people and situations who seek to harm you. And I believe that the Divine protection plays out daily.
A page follower sent me an email. She told me about the day that she was late for work. She had an early morning meeting and it was raining. She said it had been raining for days.
She lived out in the country. She was just about to get off the back roads and onto the interstate when her car just stopped running. No reason. No lights came on. There was no smoke.
She was so upset. Thankfully, her cell phone worked and she was able to call for help. When the tow truck arrived, she thought it was strange that he came from behind her instead of the opposite direction.
She asked him why. He said, “Mam, the rain has washed out some of the road up ahead. It isn’t just washed out. There’s a place near a bridge where the ground just drops off. God must think you’re special because your car stopped here. The crews haven’t even gotten to the washed out area yet.”
She said that she felt the hand of God touch her. When the tow truck driver tried to start her car, it started right up. He told her to just turn around and go back home. She said she decided to do just that. She called into work and said she was taking the day off. She spent the rest of the day thanking God for His Divine protection.
Close your eyes and imagine a big, caring hug that I am giving you! I pray that God will use this hug to cloak you in His Divine protection.
