Well, we’ve made it to the middle of the week, my friends! And I have your middle of the week hug! As always, it seems like the week is flying by.
With this hug I am saying, “I thank God that He woke us up today. That we get to live another day and see His goodness. May you feel God’s love all around you today.”
I believe you are here—not just here reading this—but here on this earth because of God’s grace and favor. You are here because God has plans for you. You are supposed to be here. And I am thankful you are here.
If you’re not where you want to be along life’s journey, don’t start doubting yourself. Don’t start wondering if you’ll ever make it. You are exactly where you are supposed to be.
Whenever you find yourself doubting how far you can go, just remember how far you have come. Remember everything you have faced, all the battles you have won, and all the fears you have overcome.
Just remember that sometimes God may slow us down or completely stop us so that we are able to help someone else. Someone needs what you have. And they will find you wherever you are slowed down or stopped. That’s how God works.
It’s not that you are being hurt and the other person is being helped. You are both growing and moving along life’s journey.
Your greatest test is when you are able to bless someone else while you are going through your own storm.
God will use you to bless others, even during your hard times. As I’ve become older, I’ve seen that my biggest blessings occur during these times.
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. ~James 1:12
