Good Morning and Happy Wednesday. We’ve made it to the middle of the week, my friends! And I have your Wednesday hug right here, my friends. I am so glad you are here. I’m glad you are on this earth and I’m glad you are here, reading this. You are not here by accident.

With this hug I am praying a short prayer for you, “Dear God, thank you for my beautiful friend. Thank you for waking us up and letting us see a brand new day. Protect my friend from harm and bless them with Your goodness. Amen”.  Believe that today is going to be a great day, a day that is positive, productive and filled with God’s blessings.

Do you ever meet someone who is uplifting to be around? They’re always smiling, laughing and they always seem to be in a good mood? I have. And it is wonderful. I love that kind of person. If you are down a little bit or you are worried about something, you automatically feel better when they come around. I know they aren’t always happy and that they have their down days, but you don’t ever really see it. They choose to move forward with a smile.

The smile on my face doesn’t mean my life is perfect. It means I appreciate what I have and what God has blessed me with.

I have a nephew in Nashville, Tennessee. We talked yesterday about the tornado that devastated so much of the area. When we talked, there were twenty-five confirmed dead and others still missing. He was telling me that one of the airports was gone and it looked like a war zone. He said that homes were gone, cars had been lifted, twisted and were in trees. He sounded so calm.

I asked him, “Isaac, you okay?” He said, “Yes mam. Compared to some of these folks, I have everything. I didn’t lose anything. I am at work and I am happy to have a job and I am happy I have a home to go back to. Some people are looking for their loved ones who are missing and they have no home”.

I hope you can feel this big, caring Wednesday Hug!

Sending you love, blessings and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
