It’s Wednesday and we’re almost at the end of April! Good Morning and Happy Wednesday! I am sending Wednesday hugs your way. I pray you are able to catch one.
Today is a gift from God. This day will never come again. So, make it count. You didn’t receive this gift of a day for no reason.
You received this day because someone out there needs you. They need what you have to share with them. Don’t ever think that you are here by accident.
I received some emails about worry over areas opening back up too soon. Please don’t let that kind of worry consume your heart and mind.
God knows when each area is ready. Some areas can begin opening, move slowly and gradually be completely open. And some areas will need to wait a little longer.
God knows what is going on. He isn’t deaf to your prayers. He isn’t blind to your tears. He knows you are worried. But He is in control.
He knows what He is doing and He is going to bring us through—all the way through—this pandemic. Never stop believing.
With this hug, I’m saying, “Be encouraged, be calm, be safe and stay in God’s peace. No matter what anyone else does or says, stay calm and be joyful in the Lord.”
I wanted to pray a short, simple prayer for encouragement. Pray this prayer with me and believe that God is going to bring us all the way through.
Dear God, Thank You for this beautiful, last Wednesday of April. We are so thankful to You for keeping us safe, keeping our families safe and giving us Your peace during this pandemic.
We know that You are going to continue to keep us safe as we navigate back into a more normal routine.
Take away our fears and strengthen our faith. Remove our racing thoughts and calm our minds. Renew our hope and help us to always believe in miracles.
Heal anyone who is still struggling with the virus and make their recovery fast. Heal all Your people, heal this land and the whole world.
Remind us that better days are ahead and that You are with us. Help us to always trust in You and rely upon Your power to bring us out of the darkness into the light.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
