We all make mistakes. It’s called “Life”. If right now you are saying to yourself, “I don’t make mistakes,” then you haven’t done much living.
What’s important is that we learn from our mistakes, grow from them and move on. Don’t go through life making people pay for their mistakes. That includes you. Give yourself a break. You’re human.
Everyone makes mistakes in life, but that doesn’t mean they have to pay for them the rest of their life. Sometimes good people make bad choices. It doesn’t mean they’re bad…it means they’re human.
It’s who we are as humans. We all lose our way sometimes. We all make mistakes. It’s called living. It’s up to you as to whether or not you learn from your mistakes and apply them in your life. There are no “small” or “large” mistakes when it comes to life lessons.
Someone once asked me, “Charity, have you never been hurt by someone? How are you able to maintain this level of positivity all the time?”
Yes, I’ve been hurt…many times. But I don’t let the hurt define me. I don’t want to go through life letting someone’s mistake define who I am. I don’t want to force anyone to pay for their mistakes. That is up to God. Good people make bad choices and bad decisions sometimes. That doesn’t mean they are bad people. What is important is that they apologize for the mistake and everyone moves on from it.
No one is perfect. We are all flawed and we all fall short of who we want to be at times. And when we fall short, that’s where God’s grace comes in. Because of God’s grace, we don’t have to be perfect. His grace is sufficient for all of us.
This life can be so hard sometimes. It can be rough, tough and hard to maneuver through. And it is even harder if we don’t recognize that we are all human and we sometimes make mistakes.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
