Good Morning, My Friends! I hope you are having a blessed THANKFUL THURSDAY so far and I pray that your entire day is blessed with God’s blessings, mercy and favor. God will make a way for you when there seems to be no way. He will assign His angels to protect you and He will remove your enemies when you don’t even know they are working against you.
Be thankful in all things and give God the glory and praise. Praise Him even during the hard times, even during your struggles. It is during these times that God makes you stronger and wiser.
When you find yourself overwhelmed, worried, anxious or sad, praise God for who He is and His promise to never leave us. Be thankful for His love and that He sent His Son to die so that we may live eternally.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. ~1 Chronicles 16:34
Being thankful is a way of life. It’s being thankful that you woke up, thankful that you have a home, food, water and clothes to wear. It means you are thankful for just being here. You are thankful for life. It means you are thankful for the little things, as well as the big things. Living a thankful life means that even though your circumstances are bad, you are still thankful. You are thankful that better days are coming and God has a miracle for you.
We are human and sometimes when we wake up, we feel bad, we’re tired and we have so many things weighing on our mind. Even then, thank God. Even when you feel like crying…go ahead and cry…pray…and thank God.
Living a thankful life is praising God when you don’t even want to pray. It is thanking God when you want and need more, but you are thanking God for what you have. You’ve heard the saying, “It isn’t happy people who are thankful. It’s thankful people who are happy,” right? It is so true. The happiest people are those who live a life of thankfulness and gratitude for all they’ve been blessed with. Yes, we all have problems. But when I look around—really look at all my blessings—I have to thank God. I know people who have only a small fraction of what I have and every day they are smiling. I recognize and appreciate my blessings. Every single day. Every single moment. I am blessed and thankful.
Sending you love, blessings and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
