Happy Saturday, my friends! Good Morning! It was God who brought us through the week and it was God who woke us up and let us see another weekend.
The past few weeks have been very challenging for us. While most of us love our homes and appreciate the haven that our home represents, we don’t like that this virus forced us to stay home.
But we are making it through. We have done what we have been asked to do and we are beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel.
So, this weekend, do your best to let all the worry and stress go. Turn it over to God. He will give you His peace.
Yes, I know it is hard, but bringing the week’s stress and worry into your weekend will create even more stress and worry.
I’m sending you this hug to help you let all your stress and worry go. With this hug, I am saying, “Let your stress go and let God have your worries and fears.”
And I am sending a little prayer with the hug: Dear God, Please bless my friends who are reading this. Assure us that You are with us.
Give us a weekend that is filled with Your joy. Give us smiles for our faces, laughter in our souls and peace in our homes.
Keep us patient while we wait to be given the okay to venture out and keep our trust in You. Keep our eyes focused on you and our ears listening to Your word.
May everything we do be done for Your glory. May we treat others with Your kindness, compassion and loving care.
Place a shield of protection around us that protects us from all harm. Be with us this weekend and shower us with Your blessings. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Never forget that God wants you to be happy. That means that He wants you to live in good health, to be safe, to be at peace, to be worry-free and to live a life of reliance upon Him.
Whenever you need a hug today, I hope you will remember this one. May you blessed today and every day. Have a blessed weekend.
