Happy Saturday, my friends! Good Morning! It was God who brought us through the week and it was God who woke us up to see another beautiful weekend.
Decide right now that your day is going to be blessed, positive, happy and joyful. If your joy seems to have left you, start saying over and over again, “Today, I am happy, I am joyful”.
Try not to bring any worries, fears and anxieties of the week into the weekend with you. Try to clear your mind of everything and focus on making this moment count.
Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 4:6-7.
Most of us live in areas that have begun to lift the stay at home restrictions. If you can get out this weekend, and you feel it is safe for you, get out and enjoy yourself.
If you feel it isn’t safe or your local authorities are advising you to stay in, know that better days are coming. You will be able to get out soon.
God has brought us through this pandemic. He has protected us, provided for us and calmed our hearts. He has placed His peace in our hearts and we have relied upon Him to bring us through.
I’m sending you this hug to help you let all your stress and worry go. With this hug, I am saying, “Let your stress go, let God have your worries and fears and enjoy your weekend”.
And I am sending a little prayer with your hug: Dear God, Please bless everyone reading this. We are so thankful You have brought us to this weekend.
Give us a weekend that is filled with Your joy. Give us smiles for our faces, laughter in our souls and peace in our hearts and homes.
Place a shield of protection around us that protects us from all harm. Guide our footsteps away from danger and keep our eyes and hearts focused on You.
Let only positive people and energy enter our homes. Remove all negativity from our spaces and dispel drama before it finds us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Whenever you need a hug today, I hope you will remember this one. May you blessed today and every day. Have a blessed weekend.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
