Choose To Live In Joy.
Life goes by in the blink of an eye. It’s too short to live upset, angry, resentful or ungrateful. If you look for the good, you’ll find it. Choose to be happy, to be at peace. Decide that each day is going to be a great day and grab each moment and make the best of it. Refuse to let negative thoughts take root in your mind and refuse to let negative people and situations drag you down. Trust your journey and know that if you make a mistake, it’s okay. See it as a lesson learned and keep moving forward. Spend less time worrying and more time being grateful for those who love you and all of life’s goodness. Choose to Live in Joy! ~Charity M. Richey-Bentley.
Over the past few weeks, we have been reminded of just how quickly our lives can change. Almost 60 lives were taken from this world in Las Vegas, at least 8 were mowed down on a street in Manhattan and at least 26 died in Sunday’s horrific massacre in Sutherland Springs, Texas.
Life is just too, too short to not live in joy. And it can change way too fast to not live in joy.
We all have days where it is hard for us to find the good. But when it’s hard for you to find the good, look harder. And if you still don’t see the good, look even harder. And you keep looking and keep looking and keep looking. You’ll see it. And you’ll be so glad you kept looking.
Hanging on to arguments, grudges and broken promises will kill your joy. If something upsets you during the day, turn it over to God before you go to bed. Go to bed with a happy and grateful heart. And when you wake up in the morning, put your cloak of joy on before you leave home. Living in joy is a choice.
Sending you joyful blessings from Sterrett, Alabama
