Money isn’t everything. But in our today’s society, we tend to see it as everything. Having money isn’t really a problem. The problem comes in when a person prioritizes the accumulation of money at all costs. There are many money-wealthy people who are poor in some or all of the above areas.
When I stop and think about all the things that money can’t buy, my list becomes way too long to type. But I think I’ve included the major things here.
We’ve all heard the saying, “The most important things in life are free”. I’m not so sure I agree with that. I just think they are things that money can’t buy.
They are things that are a part of a person, part of our soul. Each of these things makes us who we are.
What if we could go into a store and purchase a pack of manners? LOL. I know it’s not possible, but what if it were? When you read that, didn’t you immediately have a person in mind for whom you would buy the manners? I did. What about common sense? I think my mother would buy that for me. LOL.
Money may put you into a “higher-class” socially, but it doesn’t make you classy. Money may buy you lust, but it can’t buy you love. Love is an intimate act that involves the heart and money cannot control the heart.
What would you add to the list?
Sending You Some “Money-Can’t-Buy” Blessings from Sterrett, Alabama!
