It’s going to be a blessed Thankful Thursday, my friends. Good Morning. It’s our third Thankful Thursday of November and it’s one week from Thanksgiving! I pray your day is blessed with God’s grace, mercy and favor.
As you wake up, grab a cup of coffee and begin to read this blog, make sure you’ve thanked God for waking you up today. Because it’s a privilege to wake up. A lot of people went to bed last night expecting to wake up, but they didn’t.
I want to pray a short prayer for your Thankful Thursday. Please pray with me, believe in God and the power of prayer and receive the blessings that are coming with your hugs. Keep this hug with you all day long and when you need to feel God’s touch, remember that the hug is there waiting for you.
Dear God, Thank You for waking us up on this beautiful Thankful Thursday. We know that each day is a gift from you and our first blessing of each day is that we wake up.
We know that it was You who opened our eyes this morning. And it was You who breathed life into our lungs and it was You who gave us this day. Thank You.
Lord, send Your mighty angels to protect us and show us Your favor in what we attempt to get done. We need Your strength to get us through this day and make us victorious in all we do.
Reach down and touch us with Your healing hands. Remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus, addiction and all other illnesses we are struggling with.
As we go about our day, guide us away from drama and chaos. Show us how to be peacemakers and how to draw others into Your peace and calm.
We are all thankful for our many blessings. Our blessings of good health for our families, our friends, our freedom and all the little things in our life are all blessings from You.
Most of all, we are thankful that You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, so that our sins may be forgiven and we may live eternally.
Today, be with my family, friends and everyone reading this. Bless them in ways they’ve never known before and make a way for them when there seems to be no way.
May we serve as Your light for others who may find themselves in darkness. May we always lead others to You.
We love You, Lord, and we are thankful for all the blessings You’ve placed in our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
With this hug, I am saying “I am thankful for you”. May God bless you and fill your heart with thankfulness, peace and happiness. Thankful Thursday Hugs!
Sending you blessings of love, gratitude and prayer from Sterrett, Alabama!
