Have you ever been there? Have you ever found yourself at a place of frustration, about to lose hope with no vision for your future? You’re not alone. We’ve all been there.
At some point in our life, we have almost given up on a dream. Because we’ve worked so hard, put in the hours, days, weeks, months, and years to make it happen. And it just isn’t coming to fruition. No matter how hard we work and no matter how bad we want it. It ain’t happening. Not now.
And we cry and we get mad. And we mope. And we wonder why, after all the work, things didn’t pan out. There’s a reason.
As I look back on my life, I realize that every time I thought I was being rejected from something good, I was actually being re-directed to something better. ~Dr. Steve Maraboli
That’s why. Because God had something better for you. Your purpose is even higher than what you were dreaming. God has opened a door that you didn’t know about. And he is waiting for you to go through it to something better, to something bigger, to something that you need more.
It’s okay if you need to break down for a little while. It’s okay if you need to cry. Because, after all, you thought the dream that you were working on was His dream too, right? But it may not have been. He knows the plans He has for you. And they are bigger and better. Once you’ve had your cry, pray. Seek Him and learn His purpose for you. There’s a good possibility that you are already being re-directed to your higher purpose.
I have always found that if I hadn’t worked so long and hard on the dream that I thought I was being rejected from, I wouldn’t have had the preparation for my bigger purpose! God’s like that. He works that way. He won’t let your hard work go to waste. You’ll be able to use it no matter where you are re-directed!
Sending you blessings of higher purpose, re-direction and love from Sterrett, Alabama!
