New Year's Eve Blessings - The Horse Mafia

I am thankful that I have made it to the end of another year! We are about to put 2017 in the books and leave it there! Everyone I talk to tells me that 2017 was a rough year for them. Everyone is ready to move into 2018.

New Year’s Eve Blessings! The New Year represents a time to wipe the slate clean. A time to start over and build something even better. A time to grab onto second chances and turn them into blessings. So leave behind all the regrets, all the “could have’s” and the “should have’s” and make a new beginning. Don’t worry about what you didn’t get done, and what you didn’t accomplish this past year. Go into the New Year with gratitude and a positive attitude. Make 2018 your year! Your life in 2018 is not about your mistakes in 2017. Your 2018 is about applying the lessons you learned in 2017. What happened this past year cannot be undone. It happened. You can’t change that. Learn your lesson and leave the hurt, anger and resentment in 2017.

You may feel that you didn’t get enough done this past year–that you didn’t move closer to your dream. Get that thought out of your head and that feeling out of your heart. You did what you could. Be happy with that and take your dreams and goals into 2018 and work your butt off to make your dream a reality. Did any of us really get everything done in 2017 that we wanted to? I didn’t. Life steps in and slows us down when we are trying to accomplish things. That’s just life.

In 2018, wipe your slate clean, build and work on an even bigger dream, take every second chance you get and turn it into a major accomplishment, and make 2018 your best year ever! Be grateful that you have another year to make your dreams come true!
