Hello, Everyone.
I hope you are having a great Friday and I hope your weekend will be blessed. Here in Sterrett, Alabama, we are having beautiful weather. I hope you are too.
I love spring and summer flowers. My favorite flower is the hydrangea. We have some beautiful hydrangea plants and each summer enjoy their beautiful blooms through the fall.
This year, our clematis is blooming very early. At first, I was a little upset about it. The blooms of a healthy clematis plant only lasts a couple of weeks until they start to wilt and they are gone until next spring. We have a beautiful one climbing over an arch on our front walkway and others along a fence line.
These blooms will be gone in a few days. After thinking about it, I now see the passing blooms as making way for other blessings…the clematis are blooming now, but tomorrow the snowball bushes will be blooming and in a couple of weeks, the roses and then the hydrangeas.
And when I say the hydrangea blessings are many, I mean they are many. We have multi-colored, multi-species hydrangeas. Below are some pictures of our 2013 hydrangeas:
So, I can’t be upset about the soon-to-be-passing clematis blooms! My blessings are many and they are on their way!
Charity
