Father’s Day Weekend Saturday Hugs-June 19, 2021

We have a lot of reasons to smile today, my friends! It’s Saturday, it’s Father’s Day Weekend and God loves each and every one of us!

What more do we need to make this a beautiful weekend?

So, smile and decide right now that today is going to be a wonderful, blessed day. Believe that this day is a gift from God and you are going to make every second count.

This hug is to say, “Be encouraged. Keep the faith and keep hope in your heart. You are not alone. God is with you. He loves you and cares for you”.

And God loves you every day, not just today.

If you still have your Father on this earth, that’s enough to celebrate. Even if you can’t physically be with them, celebrate and honor your Father. And if your Father has gone on to be with the Lord, remember the good times and celebrate his life.

I want to pray a simple prayer and send it with this Father’s Day Weekend Saturday hug. Please pray this prayer with me and receive the blessings sent with it:

Dear God, Thank You for bringing us through the week and to this beautiful Father’s Day Weekend Saturday. We are so thankful You woke us up. You are good, all the time. Every single second of every single day.

Lord, we are thankful that this year is different from last year. This year, we can be with our fathers and celebrate their special day with them.

Last year, we were isolated from each other and we were sad during this very special time. But, we are happy this year.

During it all, You’ve protected us, blessed us and given us the strength to keep going. You are so good, all the time. Thank You for making a way for us. And thank You for our fathers.

We pray for all the Fathers who have stood strong in times of trial, Fathers who have been good role models for their children and who have loved and supported their children’s mothers.

For all the Fathers who have lost their jobs , please restore their jobs and bless them financially. Give them even better jobs than they had before our world crisis.

Open doors of opportunity and show them ways to provide for their families.

Heal every father who is struggling with illness. Remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, arthritis, lupus, hypertension and all other illnesses our fathers are struggling with.

Restore family bonds, bring Your peace and love to our homes, renew our hope, strengthen our faith, and keep us trusting in You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
