Father’s Day Weekend SATURDAY HUGS

We have a lot of reasons to smile today, my friends! It’s the first day of Summer 2020, it’s Saturday and it’s Father’s Day Weekend!

So, smile and decide right now that today is going to be a wonderful, blessed day. Believe that this day is a gift from God and you are going to make every second count.

This hug is to say, “Be encouraged. Keep the faith and keep hope in your heart. You are not alone. God is with you. He loves you and cares for you”.

Some of us can be with our Fathers this weekend and some of us can’t. Some of us are still too afraid to spend time with our parents for fear of putting them at risk for exposure to the virus.

And that makes us sad. It makes us feel like we don’t have a lot to be happy about when it comes to Father’s Day. But, we do.

If you still have your Father on this earth, that’s enough to celebrate. Even if you can’t physically be with them, celebrate and honor your Father.

I want to pray a simple prayer and send it with this Father’s Day Weekend Saturday hug. Please pray this prayer with me and receive the blessings sent with it:

Dear God, Thank You for bringing us through the week and to this beautiful Father’s Day Weekend Saturday. We are so thankful You woke us up.

As today is also the first day of Summer 2020, may we use this day to start with a clean slate. May we let go of regrets and move forward into our Summer with renewed hope and strong faith.

Lord, the past few months have been hard on us. We have spent a lot of time away from our families and friends and our world has drastically changed.

But, during it all, You’ve protected us, blessed us and given us the strength to keep going. You are so good, all the time. Thank You for making a way for us.

We pray for all the Fathers who have stood strong in times of trial, Fathers who have been good role models for their children and who have loved and supported their children’s mothers.

For all the Fathers who have lost their jobs over the past few months, please restore their jobs and bless them financially.

Restore family bonds, bring Your peace and love to our homes, renew our hope, strengthen our faith, and keep us trusting in You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Even though I can’t physically be with you, I hope you can feel this hug. May God Bless you and keep you safe. Father’s Day Weekend Hugs! Saturday Hugs!
