You remember that I have a visiting mare, right? She belongs to our family friend whose home burned. She is staying with us until he can get some things taken care of. She is a sweetie, very gentle and loving.
I wanted to show you a picture of her eyes…they are gold. I’ve never seen a horse with this particular color before–all shades of brown, black and blue, but never this light gold color. And in the sunshine, her coat color has the gold tint to it also. Unfortunately, the picture doesn’t really show off the gold. I tried every way imaginable to get the right shot, but this was the best I could do. 🙂 I’ll keep trying to get a better shot of the gold.
