Good Morning & God Bless, My Friends! I usually begin my morning blogs with “Let’s make today laughter filled, a smiling day…” But today is different than most days. This Wednesday is the day we set aside to remember and honor. It’s a day that changed most of us forever.
We never know what the day is going to bring. We go to bed every night, full of hope for the next day. We don’t stop to think that one of our loved ones may not wake up. We don’t stop to think that a loved one may be taken from us during the day.
Never leave home with a kiss, a hug and a “I Love You”.
Always tell your loved ones how much they mean to you. And tell them often. Never leave home in the morning with a fight going on between you and your spouse, between you and your child or another loved one. Life’s too short. Things are going to happen and people are going to hurt you. But don’t get so angry that you don’t hug them and tell them that you love them every single day.
I know it is hard some times. I get that. It’s very hard to get to a loving place when you’re angry and upset. Just don’t leave each other with that kind of feeling between you. You just never know when you are going to see that person again.
Every person that is in your life, God put there. Every person is there for a reason. Even the people who aren’t in your family, but are in your life–God put them there. Show them that you love them and treat them with loving care.
I pray that God gives you peace and comfort today as we remember those who were lost to us and as we honor all our Heroes.
