I pray that you are having a blessed Father’s Day Weekend. I love celebrating Father’s Day and doing something for my Dad on that day. I feel blessed that my Dad is still here with us. I know that some of you have lost your Dad and I want to say a prayer. Grief is never ending and I know that sometimes Holidays can only make it worse. I pray that this prayer brings you some peace and comfort.
A Prayer For Father’s Day: Dear Lord, please bless all the fathers out there. Give them Your wisdom and grace when raising young lives and molding children. Direct their paths and guide them in Your ways. Make them strong enough to deal with the problems and gentle enough to show love, compassion and kindness to their children. Bless them financially so that they can provide for their families and meet the needs of everyday life. Strengthen the bonds they have with in-laws and other family members so that their extended families serve as systems of support. Let their lives serve as examples for their children and let their actions show their love and care. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. ~Charity M. Richey-Bentley
