Happy people make me happier. It is such a wonderful feeling when you find yourself surrounded by people who are truly happy.
It isn’t that happy people have more than the rest of us. Actually, sometimes, it is the happy people who have less than others, at least less in material things.
They are happy because they have learned to be happy with what they have. That, my friends, is one of life’s biggest lessons.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned who I can be around for extended periods of time. I want to be around people who are uplifting, who are positive, who are happy.
Happy people live in the right now. They don’t look back to the past. They don’t have regrets and they are thankful for each moment of life.
Neither do happy people worry about the future. They realize that no amount of worry is going to change things. You cannot worry yourself into a different place. As a matter of fact, worry attracts more negativity.
Happy people take life day by day. They live in each day, in each moment, making the most of what they have.
Happy are those who take life day by day, complain very little, and are thankful for the little things in life.
Happy people are not the big complainers. We all complain sometimes–even if we do it to ourselves. Sometimes, a complaint will slip out. That’s true for all of us. But happy people don’t go through their days complaining about things. They are grateful where they are in their journey and are thankful for everything they have.
And happy people are thankful for the little things in life. The things that some people may take for granted, happy people are thanking God for.
Some people may be unhappy that they have to stop and fill up with gasoline when they are running late to get to work or an important meeting. Happy people are thankful to have a car.
Some people may be unhappy that they have to get up, go to work, and spend their time on a job that they don’t enjoy vey much. Happy people are happy to have a job.
Happy people find the good in everything and thank God for all of it.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!

I was caught in a whirlpool of misery for awhile and didn’t realize how far I had fallen. I was so blind with my injured pride and self pity that I had forgotten to appreciate all the things that were gifted to me everyday. Like another day is another opportunity to improve on how you can become a person of comfort. By that I mean safe to be around. Simply a thanks given randomly or to make a reference to another’s accomplishments. To lift another just to know that it Have Been the moment they needed to be lifted up because they had no strength. Be Intentional about encouragement towards others and together we can change the world. š„
