Life has knocked me down a few times…
It has shown me things
I never wanted to see.
I have experienced sadness and failures.
But one thing for sure…
I always get up!

Do you know what I think it is? Well, I more than think it—I BELIEVEit. In my heart and soul, I believe it.
I believe it is because your destiny is greater than anything that can come against it.
I heard Joel Osteen say something the other day that pretty much sums it up:
“Your past has not defined you. Your past has prepared you. Prepared you for the plans God has in store for you.” Every piece of sadness, every failure, every grief, every knock down, every set back—they have all happened to prepare you for greatness.
In our day-to-day life, it is so difficult to understand this. On our jobs we are looked over for promotion again and again. We may experience physical illness again and again. Our finances run too low month after month. Friends may do things that hurt us. We may lose loved ones. And when we look around at everyone, they all seem to be doing better than us. Well, maybe it’s time to look at it with different eyes.
Maybe they seem to be doing better than you because they don’t have the destiny that you have. Start looking at it as, “the greater the set-back, the bigger the set-up for success”. Every “no” is one step closer to a “yes”. Every knock-down makes you closer to the ground so that you can get on your knees and pray.
Greatness is not achieved overnight. ☺ And greatness comes faster when you learn that the not-so-great things are just part of the journey. They are on your path to prepare you for your greatness. Hardship after hardship just means that God is really preparing you for something GREAT. And there is no power, no person, no circumstance, no incident that can keep you from your destiny. Keep believing, keep getting back up and keep moving forward.
Blessings to you!
