Never Lose Hope

It ain’t over until God says it’s over.  No matter how many times you get knocked down, no matter how many times someone tells you that it’s over, no matter how hard it is to keep going, it ain’t over until God says it’s over.

You may feel hopeless.  Your doctor may have given you a bad report.  You may be losing or have lost your job.  Your marriage may be in trouble.  You may have addiction in your family.  Your finances may be low.  When you find yourself in a hopeless situation, remember that God has not left you.  Just because things have not worked out exactly how you planned does not mean that God is not at work in your life.  No matter what your situation is saying to you, God has not left you.  Tell yourself this until you believe it.

Some of you may remember when Ezekiel found himself in the “valley of the bones”.  God told Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones and speak life into them.  And we all know what happened.  God was telling Ezekiel that no matter what Israel had done, He had the final say!  It wasn’t over!  Because God said it wasn’t over!

The next time you feel hopeless, don’t give up.  Start praising God for the discouragement because you know that something wonderful is on its way.  You feel so hopeless and lost because the devil is desperate to stop you.  So just praise God for everything–the good and bad.  The devil doesn’t know what to do with a child of God who can beat him at his own game.  When you praise God for the discouragement, you’ve taken his plan and turned it around on him and grown even stronger.

It ain’t over just because it looks like it is over.  Don’t put limits on God.  You depend on God to say when it’s over.

It has been my personal experience that my biggest blessings come after the darkest storms.  I know that when I am going through a rough time, I cannot lose hope.  Because God is about to send me my miracle.
