It’s true for all of us.  We’re all only here for a little while.  I know that many of you are still grieving over the tragic events in Sutherland Springs, Texas.  I am too.  This one was worse for me–maybe it was that it happened in a Church or that children were killed, but this one was worse for me.

This morning when I got up, I had to go into my personal profile on Facebook for a few minutes.  I saw that, overnight, I had been notified of a friend from high school who passed away.  I was shocked.  I did not even know she was sick.  We lost touch after school.  She moved away and for some reason, we didn’t stay close.  I spent a lot of time at her home and she at mine when we were much younger.  I’ll always remember her for her laughter and joyful attitude.  She was one of those people that everyone loved.  Everyone wanted to be around her and spend time with her because she was always laughing.  RIP, my dear friend.

We’re only here for a little while.  Do what you need to do now for and with the people you love.  Pray what needs prayin’, Say what needs sayin’.  Cause we’re only here for a little while.
