Good Morning and Happy Saturday, my friends! It’s our fifth and last Saturday of August. Our August is almost over. It’s our last weekend of the month and it is going to be wonderful.
I am so glad that you are able to join me a few minutes for a hug and a prayer. A hug can reduce stress, anxiety and worry. And it can help start your day off with a smile.
If you’re like me, you truly believe that God brought us through the week and woke us up to see this beautiful weekend. Just like He does every night, He kept us safe and blessed us with another day.
I’m sending Saturday hugs your way. This hug is to say that God loves you, cares for you, protects you, wants to see you blessed, and wants to see you happy.
And I am sending a little prayer with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me. And when you pray, believe that God hears our prayers and He is still on the throne.
You may be going through hard times. I understand. I hear from people all day long every day that want and need prayer.
We’ve come through a rough few months and we are still going through hard times. But God hears you when you pray and He knows your heart.
Dear God, We thank You for this day and this weekend. We wouldn’t be here without You in our lives. You continue to keep us safe and happy.
Reach down and touch every single person who is praying this prayer. Let them feel Your peace, calm and grace. Wrap us in Your loving care.
We claim and receive the blessings You are sending for our weekend, Lord. We accept Your blessings of happiness, peace, joy and renewed energy.
We know that You have the power to make us feel renewed, to feel like our energy and our motivation is refreshed.
Lord, please send Your angels to guard and protect us. Place Your shields around us and push back anyone or anything that would do us harm.
Lord, bring a complete end to this pandemic. Take this virus away from Your people and heal everyone suffering with it. We know You can completely wipe it off the planet.
Lord, thank You for bringing calm and peace back to our Cities, our States, our Country and across the world. Let us feel Your calming presence in all areas of our lives.
We know, Lord, that it is important for us to feel peace and calm in our hearts, our homes, and all spaces in which we spend our time. We cannot focus on You if we live a chaotic life.
Let only positive people and energy enter our homes. Remove all negativity from our spaces and dispel drama before it finds us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for posting this! My daughters husband passed into heaven on July 12th 2020. These are difficult times for her and our family.
