Saturday Hugs-December 19, 2020

December 19, 2020 By Charity M. Richey-Bentley 14 Comments

Good Morning and Happy Saturday, my friends! It’s our third Saturday of December 2020. And it’s our last Saturday before Christmas! When this day is over, we’ll have only one Saturday left in 2020.

Iโ€™m sending Saturday hugs your way. This hug is to say that God loves you and you are not alone. During this Christmas Season, remember the true meaning of Christmas and believe that there is nothing more important in this Season than celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.

And I am sending a little prayer with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me. And when you pray, believe that God hears our prayers and He is still on the throne.

Dear God, We thank You for this day and this weekend. We wouldn’t be here without You in our lives. You continue to keep us safe and happy. We are thankful to see this third weekend of December 2020.

It is the weekend before Christmas and we are so thankful for all the blessings You’ve placed in our lives. We are especially thankful for the blessing of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Lord, this past year has been so hard on us. We’ve lost so much and we need You to restore our lives.ย Please touch all of us with Your healing hands. Let us feel Your peace, calm and grace. Wrap us tightly in Your loving arms and Your loving care.

We believe when we pray for Your weekend blessings that we will receive them. We claim, receive and accept Your Christmas blessings of happiness, peace, joy and renewed energy.

Renew our bodies, minds, hearts and souls, Lord. We want to feel like our energy and motivation are refreshed and we are renewed by Your touch.

Lord, please send Your angels to guard and protect us. Place Your shields around us and keep all harm and negativity away from us.

Lord, bring a complete end to this pandemic. Take this virus away from Your people and heal everyone suffering with it. We know You can completely wipe it off the planet.

Heal every person who is sick and suffering. Remove all pains and worries from their bodies, hearts and minds. Restore good health and keep us away from anything that may bring illness to us.

We know, Lord, that it is important for us to feel peace and calm in our hearts, our homes, and all spaces in which we spend our time. We cannot focus on You if we live a chaotic life.

So, place Your peace in our hearts and homes. Show us a way around drama and negativity and surround us with positive people.

Surround us with positive thoughts and positive energy. Steer us away from negativity and drama and keep our hearts and our minds focused on You. In Jesusโ€™ name, we pray. Amen.

Whenever you need a hug today, I hope you will remember this one. Saturday Hugs!

Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
