Good Morning and Happy Saturday, my friends! It’s our first Saturday of October. We’re moving quickly toward the end of the year. Let’s make every second count.
I am so glad that you are able to join me a few minutes for a hug and a prayer. You’re not here by accident. You are here because you are meant to be here.
Iβm sending Saturday hugs your way. This hug is to say that God loves you, cares for you, protects you, wants to see you blessed, and wants to see you happy.
And I am sending a little prayer with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me. And when you pray, believe that God hears our prayers and He is still on the throne.
Dear God, We thank You for this day and this weekend. We wouldn’t be here without You in our lives. You continue to keep us safe and happy. We are thankful to see this first weekend of October.
Reach down and touch every single person who is praying this prayer. Let them feel Your peace, calm and grace. Wrap us in Your loving care.
We claim and receive the blessings You are sending for our weekend, Lord. We accept Your blessings of happiness, peace, joy and renewed energy.
We know that You have the power to make us feel renewed, to feel like our energy and our motivation are refreshed.
Lord, please send Your angels to guard and protect us. Place Your shields around us and push back anyone or anything that would do us harm.
Lord, bring a complete end to this pandemic. Take this virus away from Your people and heal everyone suffering with it. We know You can completely wipe it off the planet.
Heal every person who is sick and suffering. Remove all pains and worries from their bodies, hearts and minds. Restore good health and keep us away from anything that may bring illness to us.
We know, Lord, that it is important for us to feel peace and calm in our hearts, our homes, and all spaces in which we spend our time. We cannot focus on You if we live a chaotic life.
So, place Your peace in our hearts and homes. Show us a way around drama and negativity and surround us with positive people.
Let only positive people and energy enter our homes. Let us be peacemakers, Lord. May we take peace with us everywhere we go and may we seek to always live in peace. In Jesusβ name, we pray. Amen.
Whenever you need a hug today, I hope you will remember this one. Saturday Hugs!
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!

Thank you for your support and prayers, they mean so much. Usually I wake up all by myself and it’s very comforting to see your hugs and heartfelt messages which uplift me so much. I would be better off if I could get back up home to Michigan where all my family and friends are. I just wanted to see where I was born in Jacksonville, FL, but met with the wrong people who I was trying to help because his life was going all wrong. I’ve worked very hard as a CNA and home health aide as well as trying to comfort this man and do for his family, but they weren’t raised up the same way I was, so it’s been very tough for me. I am crippled up now and have to use a walker to get around. I keep telling myself I should have left him a long time ago. He had an accident at work back in 1999, and I have tried to help him as much as I could, doing double shifts and fixing meals and cleaning too. I can’t now because, as I said I am more crippled up, especially since I had colostomy surgery and have to use the walker more instead of a cane. Your thoughtfulness and prayers have mean’t so much to me, thank you, and may God richly bless you and your family

Thank you for your prayers and thoughts. They were especially helpful today as my car was repossessed overnight. I have been working but unable to make enough money to pay all my expenses. I was widowed in 2017 and I have been struggling since then due to the many bills my late wife had in both our names that I did not know about. I also have an autistic son with other special needs and it is a challenge to get what he needs. I am not complaining as God has seen me through and I am going to be 64 and I am still healthy and able to work. The loss of my car is a setback but I am certain God has a purpose and will show me the way I am to take. Just as I found your Saturday hugs and prayer He shows me the way. Thank you for being a light in the world. God bless you and everyone who needs a hug today. Never give up, never give in give it to God.
