Saturday Hugs-September 28, 2024

Good Morning and Happy Weekend! It’s not just any weekend, it’s our last Saturday of September! It is going to be a wonderful, blessed day. God is good, all the time.

I pray that you are able to rest, to reenergize, to enjoy the beautiful, fall weather and to make beautiful memories with your family and friends.

Let’s decide right now that it is going to be a great day. No matter what happens today, don’t let anyone take you out of God’s peace. And take that peace into the weekend with you.

I’m sending Saturday hugs your way. I hope you are able to reach out and grab one. Don’t let them pass you by because these hugs are meant to make you smile.

I want to pray a short prayer for your day. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God hears our prayers, He is faithful and He is in control.

Dear God, This Saturday and this Weekend are gifts from You. We are so thankful our names were on the wake up list. We are privileged to have another day to seek You, seek Your plans for our lives and to be a blessing to others.

We know that You did not let us get to the end of September by accident. We know that we are meant to be here. We know that as long as You keep waking us up, You are not finished with us.

Make this a month of restoration for us, Lord. Restore our health, our finances and our faith in You. Even when we can’t feel You, remind us that You will never leave us or forsake us.

Reach down Your healing hands and heal our bodies from cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus and all other illnesses we are struggling with.

Remove all pain and suffering. Take away even the smallest pain from our bodies and make our bodies feel renewed and refreshed.

Remove worry, anxiety and chaos from our lives. Show us ways around drama and chaos. And when others try to draw us into their drama, show us ways to draw them into Your peace.

We are so grateful for all the blessings You are going to give in the last few days of September and in the month of October. May we use our blessings to bless others.

Bless all of us economically and financially. Lord, give our families a way to thrive, not just survive. Abundantly meet their needs and bring financial stability to their homes.

Be with us all today and this weekend and strengthen our faith in You. Renew our hope and recharge our soul.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
